as a practitioner who has been engaged in the work of "coal to electricity" for many years, he has experienced the whole process of "coal to electricity" from the self exploration of electricity enterprises to the pilot projects of government departments, from the gradual implementation of the core area of the capital to the comprehensive promotion of Beijing. At the end of the year, looking back on what we have seen and heard in the past ten years, I have some macro thoughts, which I now share with you

in the energy substitution aiming at protecting the environment, we have many choices, such as gas, electricity, solar energy, etc., among which electric energy can be said to be the best choice

first, it is clean - the inherent zero emission cleanliness of the terminal. Other kinds of energy, either carbon, nitrogen, sulfur, and some even a variety of emissions

the second is security - unparalleled security of millisecond level protection for users. Electric energy will neither explode nor be poisoned. As for the risk of electric shock, electric shock protection can be completed within tens of milliseconds

the third is convenience - the unique convenience of conversion and control. Press the switch and everything is ready. No matter what kind of electrical appliances are, they can be controlled freely, and can also be operated remotely

the fourth is omnipotent -- unparalleled all-round substitutability for other energy sources. With enough electric energy, we can drive all kinds of equipment, facilities, utensils and tools for production and life, while other energy sources are not so versatile. This "high" investment in electric heating has its rationality and will bring higher returns

first, the high return of environmental benefits. Due to the characteristics of zero emission of electric energy, the capital investment for the treatment of the environment and clean atmosphere can be completely exempted on the demand side

second, the high return of large-scale benefits. On the supply side, emissions will certainly occur in the process of converting electric energy from primary energy to secondary energy, and the effect is very significant. Therefore, centralized large-scale production, whether energy use efficiency or emission control efficiency, is far better than the decentralized consumption of other energy sources

third, avoid high returns in intermediate links. With electric heating, electric energy can be directly used from the production plant to the terminal, without intermediate links, road transportation, logistics and distribution, and pressure vessel storage, so as to avoid many risks

fourth, high returns that benefit people's livelihood. As an infrastructure related to the economy and people's livelihood, the load level of each household can reach 6-9 kW after the power construction and transformation are in place. It can not only meet the various energy needs of life, but also meet the small-scale production needs in rural areas, making rural electrification one of the ways to promote farmers to get rich and improve the quality of life

fifth, the high return of local economic sustainable development. At present, most of the energy suppliers in the field of end consumption are local state-owned enterprises, and only electric energy is a central enterprise. According to the division, if electricity is used, large investments from central enterprises in local areas can be obtained, which can greatly alleviate the pressure of direct investment from local governments. Moreover, the electric construction, transformation and upgrading accompanying electric heating will bring strong energy power to local economic development

electric energy is secondary energy, which is converted from other kinds of energy (coal, water, wind, light, nuclear, etc.). it is unrealistic and unscientific to blindly emphasize maintaining high quality with low cost and look at long-term investment from a short-term perspective. Clean energy substitution is a good thing and a task. At the same time, it also needs money and time. Therefore, relevant work also needs to be realistic and respect science
