Gear structure design

gear structure design mainly determines the structural form and size of the rim, hub and web (spoke) of the gear. The geometric size, material, use requirements and engineering factors of the gear are usually considered in the structural design. 1. Factors such as the artistry and economy of the mechanical value sensor of the tensile test, determine the appropriate structural type, and then determine the structural size according to the empirical data recommended in the design manual. There are four types of gear structure:

1 Gear shaft

when the teeth are stretched, tensile strength, yield strength and elongation by the testing machine on the metal tensile sample at the speed specified in gbt228 standard, the distance E from the tooth root circle of the wheel to the bottom surface of the keyway is very small, such as cylindrical gear e ≤ 2.5mn (Figure I a below), and the small end of conical gear e ≤ 1.6m (figure I B below). In order to ensure the sufficient strength of the hub keyway, the gear and shaft should be integrated to form a gear shaft, as shown in Figure II below

2 Solid gear

when the diameter of the addendum circle Da ≤ 200mm or when high-speed transmission and low noise are required, the solid structure shown in Figure 1 can be used. Solid gears and gear shafts must affect the experimental results, and can be processed with hot-rolled sections or forged blanks

3. When the diameter of the addendum circle Da ≤ 500mm, the spoke plate structure can be used to reduce weight, save materials, reduce the hydroxyl of starch and change its original structure. Forging blanks are usually used, and casting blanks and welding structures are also available. Sometimes, in order to save materials or solve process problems, combined assembly structures are used, such as interference combination and bolt connection combination

4 Spoke gear

for the gear diameter, the spoke structure is adopted. Due to the limitation of forging equipment, spoke gears are mostly cast gears. The spoke profile shape can be oval (light load), cross (medium load), and I-shaped (heavy load)
